Makaton

St Paul's Nursery School is an inclusive setting. We believe in empowering children to be the most effective communicators that they can be. Some children within setting are pre verbal so alternative forms of communication are needed so that they can play and interact with their peers. All the staff at nursery are Level 1 Makaton trained and we teach three new signs per week. Below are the signs that we have learnt throughout the year.
